The hotel was quaint and fairly clean with good views of the castle. The location was marvelous and good, for example, an 1800s red sandstone castle was relatively near the property. We were minutes from bars and restaurants.

Had an amazing start to the new year. the complementary champagne and chocolates were a nice touch to the festivities, and we had a great view of the river from the room. the location was perfect, just a short walk to plenty of restaurants and shops. the breakfast spread was fantastic with many options to choose from.
The room had a strong scent of smoke, which was a bit disappointing. the housekeeping tried to rectify the issue.
